Filmin yapımcılığını Stephen Woolley ve Elizabeth Karlsen, senaristliğini ise Peter Straughan üstleniyorlar.
Filmin başrolünü üstelenen Simon Pegg TV’de ve özellikle Channel 4’da rol aldığı Spaced dizisinde canlandırdığı karakter ile Peter Sellers Komedi Ödülü’ne hak kazandı. Oyuncu bu rolle BAFTA ödüllerine ve Uluslararası Emmy Ödüllerine de aday gösterildi.
